Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known by the name Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, comic and radio host. She is who is also known being the child of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she was credited with launching her own La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre, which reached the top of the charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin performer to make two million copies in the United States. She was introduced to Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale in 1974. They married in the month of April, 1975. It was the first wedding to be broadcast across Mexico.
